Do you make oval braided jute rugs?
Yes. Oval braided jute rugs are produced using the same coiled construction technique as round rugs. The oval format is particularly well suited to hallways, dining rooms and bedroom-end applications. We produce oval rugs in any dimension required.
What is the minimum order quantity?
Minimum order quantities depend on the specification. For standard styles in listed sizes, we can accommodate smaller repeat orders. For custom development — new sizes, shapes or colour specifications — we discuss minimums on a project-by-project basis. Can colour accents be added to braided jute rugs?
Yes. Colour can be introduced through dyed jute, cotton or wool accent strands braided into the construction alongside the natural jute. We are a direct manufacturer. Planet Arts owns and operates its own production facility in Jaipur. We do not source from third-party manufacturers or operate as a trading intermediary. This means you are buying directly from the people who make your rugs — with full visibility of the production process and direct access to the team responsible for your order.
Can I request samples before placing a bulk order?
Yes. We send samples of existing braided jute rug styles on request. For custom specifications, we produce bespoke samples against your brief before confirming bulk production. Sample costs and lead times are discussed at the enquiry stage. For significant volume orders, sample costs are typically offset against the first production order.
What rooms are braided jute rugs best suited to?
Braided jute rugs work well in living rooms, dining rooms, hallways, bedrooms, studies and home offices. Round formats are particularly effective in seating areas and under circular dining tables. Do you offer exclusive designs for retail clients?
Yes. We develop exclusive braided jute rug designs for retail clients who want collections that are not available to other buyers. Exclusivity arrangements are discussed and agreed at the development stage. This is standard practice for our private label clients.
Can braided jute rugs be produced with a latex backing?
Yes. A natural latex backing can be applied to the underside of braided jute rugs to add grip and prevent movement on hard floors. Specify this requirement at the enquiry stage and we will include it in the production specification and pricing.
